USCIS Updates Policy on CSPA Age Calculation
USCIS is revising the Policy Manual to specify that for Child Status Protection Act (CSPA) age calculations, a visa becomes available according to the Final Action Dates chart in the Department of State Visa Bulletin. This updated guidance will take effect for requests submitted on or after August 15, 2025. For adjustment of status applications pending with USCIS before August 15, 2025, we will continue to apply the CSPA age calculation policy dated February 14, 2023, as applicants may have relied on that policy at the time of filing.
